OUR STORY
A Beautiful Home in the Heart of Capo d' Orlando
Beniamino and Nancy have been in love for a long time. They met when Nancy was training to be a hairdresser at Beniamino’s salon. They still work together as hairdressers and in opening their home as a B&B. Nancy spent most of her youth in Perth, Australia and Beniamino spent his late adolescence in Germany. But Sicily is home. It is where they raised their two sons, Andrea Marcel and Federico. Their villa is filled with tokens from their travels and delicate family heirlooms; linen, lace and china. Nancy loves to share her passion for Sicilian life including the food and Beniamino takes great pride in the garden with the fabulous view of the Islands. Regularly guests will hear the laughter of their grandchildren and it is a testament to their hospitality that guests return year in, year out, becoming members of Beniamino and Nancy’s extended family. Whoever you are and wherever you come from – as far away as Australia or as close as Rome – you are welcome at Villa Bency

Villa Bency is a luxurious Bed & Breakfast.
The desire of the owners, Beniamino and Nancy, is to offer comfort and delight with Sicilian hospitality off the Tyrennian Coast in Capo d’Orlando. In fact, they open their home to share with their guests what daily life in Sicily is like, making this place more than a safe and comfortable place to sleep. Instead Villa Bency contains a sense of place, of the relationships and the authentic emotions of life in a Sicilian Villa.
Among the hills in the province of Messina, in front of the Mount of the Madonna (of Capo d’Orlando) and the Aeolian Islands, the villa is made with environmentally friendly materials:
wood, stone and wrought iron that are in perfect harmony with the palm trees, bougainvillea, the ficus and olive trees. Each room has a private bathroom and linen bedding and shared facilities include garden, swimming pool and breakfast patio in the garden. Guests love the generous breakfasts prepared by Nancy with typical flavours such as ricotta of Nebrodi, omelettes made with local vegetables, fresh juices, breads, salami and desserts along with the continental breakfast classics such as yogurt, cereals, jams, coffee/espresso, milk and tea. Andrea Marcel Pidala, son of Nancy and Beniamino, is a town planner with a love of the environment and is able to offer the history of the local area for curious friends – people who are ready to love this corner of Sicily.
